Yearbook Ad sales

This past week, the Green Ridge Yearbook Class spent a full day selling ad space for the 2022-2023 yearbook. They visited over 100 different businesses in the local surrounding area. The response from the community was overwhelming. In total, as of September 16th, the yearbook staff has sold over $3,000 in ad sales. This is the highest amount that students have raised in yearbook ad sales in recent history. The students visited  several of the surrounding towns for support including Sedalia, La Monte, Knob Noster, and Windsor. Evelyn Elwood and Ava Needy led the way this year bringing in over $1000 ad space to over 30 different businesses just in their group alone. The most common ad size purchased this year was half-page, with 16 being sold. Together, with the 13 full-page ads and dozens of business card ad sizes sold, it brought the total to over 20 pages of ads. The Green Ridge R-8 School District would like to extend its deepest gratitude to all the businesses that purchased an ad to support the GR8 school district!
