Ashlee Martin and Miley Hayes performed beautifully at State Solo & Ensemble in Columbia today, April 28th.
Miley Hayes received a Bronze rating for her trumpet solo and Ashlee Martin received a Gold rating for her vocal solo.
Miley worked hard and faced the challenge set before her. Mrs.Bates challenged her to prepare and perform a solo at Districts. Not only did Miley perform at Districts, but she performed so well that she qualified for State as a Freshman. This is high praise and quite the honor!
Ashlee has qualified for State all 4 years of high school. This is a well-deserved accomplishment for someone who works as hard as she does to excel musically. Ashlee is passionate about music and it shows in her voice.
We are all proud of your accomplishments. GO TIGERS!
